Thank you for choosing AppealSnap to help you with your property tax appeal! Please be sure to read this refund policy in its entirety. While we are confident that our property value appeal evidence packet will help you reduce the noticed market value for your property, we cannot guarantee the actual reduction amount.
However, if the tax savings realized from your appeal does not cover the cost of our service, we’ll refund you the difference between what you saved and what you paid. We are committed to providing value for our customers. This starts with them always getting their money’s worth.
To begin the refund process, you will need to contact us at contact@appealsnap.com with 1) the address of the property you appealed, 2) the username and email associated with the account, and 3) a copy of the Appraisal Review Board decision following your protest hearing. Please type “Refund Request” in the subject line.
For your purchase to qualify for the refund, 1) certified values must be published, 2) you must have appealed the noticed value for the subject property to the Appraisal Review Board (ARB) and have had your hearing with the Board, 3) your estimated tax savings must be less than the amount you paid for your property value appeal evidence packet, and 4) you must request this refund within 14 days of when the county publishes the certified values. Please note, your tax savings are calculated by multiplying the tax rate for the preceding year by the reduction to your market value following a protest. Preceding year tax rates must be used because tax rates for the current year are not available till later in the year.
If your estimated tax savings are less than what you paid for your evidence packet, you will be refunded the difference. Only the amount paid at the time of purchase is eligible for this refund.
